Storm Door Agreement
Please Read
Storm doors are acceptable for the Boulder Ridge Community with some requirements. The storm doors need to be white and full glass (which eliminates the kickboard). Storm doors can have beveled glass and a safety bar that runs across the door.
Installation of the door is the responsibility of the homeowner. It is also the responsibility of the homeowner to see that the installation is done by a professional or in a professional manner.
Additionally, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain the door. Examples of maintenance would be: replacing broken glass, door handles, and front door damage. The homeowner shall also make sure that the storm door is properly latching closed to prevent damage to the main door frame and surroundings.
Please note that any damage caused to the common elements or limited common elements because of the storm door or its installation will be the responsibility of the homeowner.
The Boulder Ridge Board of Directors reserves the right to initiate repairs and bill the affected homeowner for damage done to limited/common elements as the result of a storm door installation.
